Meet The Photographer
My Name is Lindsay, I am the owner and photographer behind the scenes of KD Reign Photography. I'm a mom, wife and huge animal lover. Anyone that knows me will say that the three things I can't live without are my dogs, my horses, and my family. My Passion for photography started when I was young, constantly taking photos of my dog every chance I had. In college I found myself being pulled more towards art than anything else and decided to pick up photography once more and quickly found myself in the dark room developing more pictures of my dogs and completely hooked on doing more. In 2012 I graduated with my degree in photographic technology and started shooting immediately after. I started out working mostly on weddings and engagement sessions as a second shooter. I quickly realized there was more I was meant to do with my photography and started to wonder how I could become my own boss instead of just an employee for someone.
In 2021 I moved to northern Michigan from the Detroit area and for a while I wondered what I was going to do for a career in a much more remote area. Shortly after moving, my life took a lot of turns. I got married, became a mom, and I decided it was time to take the leap for my family and myself to finally open the business I had dreamed of for so long. After 10 years of shooting just for friends and family I opened KD Reign Photography LLC, Named after my daughter Kenna, and I couldn't be happier.
Since 2023 I have taken a huge dive into Equine Photography working along side photographers like Natalie Suto and J Klein as well as taking on Private clients for Equine and Canine Portrait sessions. Equine and Canine Sessions are truly my passion and I will travel anywhere to be around some beautiful horses or cute pooches! Yes I will absolutely spoil your four legged friends if given the opportunity to meet them.
I also offer my nature photography for home decor! My nature prints can be ordered in any size with any frame or they can be found at The Happy Goat retail store in Gaylord MI for purchase.
